The Good Aunt (cont)...

Calamity takes her "Aunt" responsibilities seriously.  

Here she is washing Dora.

 And then she takes on both of them.

The good Aunt...

Diega wanted to play with Aunt Calamity, who was napping... 

 Calamity was very gentle and patient...

 And then the play turned a little rough...

 ...and this is what happened when Diega let out a small meow.  The rest of the babysitting brigade became instantly involved.

After playing, it was bath time...

Aunt Calamity rocks!

Calamity's advice on being a good Aunt:  "When all else fails and you want to nap again sometimes you just have to lay on them."

Kitten tested, Mother approved...

 So.....with the help of Sweet Pea, we have named the kittens.

Diega

 Dora (the Explorer)

 Donnie

Clara (Mom #1)

Georgia (Mom #2)

Also the back loft has been dubbed the Hornets Nest.

Georgia's dilemma...

...it started when we moved the kittens from the downstairs bedroom, upstairs, to the back loft.  This is the normal look I got from her, almost saying...."you're not up there with my kittens, are you?"

These were the only things between her and...

...her kittens.

She would not be denied!

So we are pretty sure that's how we found this one downstairs on the sofa after leaving Georgia unattended for about an hour.

 The kitten was soaking wet from a recent bath (ok....she had been slimed) but was otherwise unharmed! 

There is a possibility that the kitten got out of the swimming pool and fell down the steps but she still needed help to get up on the sofa so I think my money is on Georgia. 

She just loves those kittens!
